Hello,
After many attempts to upgrade Win 10 unsuccessfully, I gave a try to Ubuntu and it has been great, with the exception of the sound. It has been very unstable to make it work properly. Until not long ago, I had to constantly swap the output device from the "Speaker - Built in Audio" to "HDMI - Atom/Celeron Processor xxxxxx" audio.
Until recently, I've noticed no surround sound was being decoded on my Home Teather receiver. Checking on the Sound Output device options, the HDMI is no longer available but instead i see "Analog Output - Atom/Celeron Processor xxxxxx". Being this the case, the receiver of course, sees only PCM stereo input, no DD / DTS, etc.
Any thoughts?
