I had a lot of problem with my U9-H, mostly with UHD video:

but after upgrade a week ago, everything was solved, and everything is working much better than before. All my videos get the right resolution, UHD (3840x2160) 60 Hz is working perfect, Dolby Atmos, DTS HD Master, DD, DTS all working great with passthrough. No testing with different resolution, the automatic settings (4k 60 Hz) worked from start, i just changed Color Space to YCbCr444. HDR is also working like a charm.

After recomendation from pusb87 i now use WBMC. Working much better than Kodi and i wonder why! Shouldn't KODI be the best, it's still the original! e.g. I have one U9-H and two U1, and i have always had problem to quit Kodi. It takes 10-15 sek, and somtimes it never quit, i have to force stop. With WBMC it take never more than 1-2 sek. (y)

Just used it for a week, but so far ... :unsure: i'm really satisfied.

I have just figured out yesterday

With a Mac OSX you need Vmware Fusion running Windows 7 or Windows 10 and you must setup your VM that when you connect a USB device t it is automatically connect to Windows and the Burner Tool will see your Minix in order to download the Firmware into your Minix

HI folks. can anyone offer any advice on where im going wrong.
I've had an on going issue with my U9-H, i'll be using it and the signal to my TV will drop out, i have to reboot the system to contine.

as a fix, i've downloaded the new firmware, extracted the Image file from ZIP, but the USB burning tool cant pick up the file.

Where am i going wrong?

I upgraded my Minix to this version U9-H-FW001-Android_7.1-20180814 and I'm missing Display Settings in Andorid Settings to set resolution, framerate, HDR, color space ...
Where it is?

Just got wind of this beta firmware and installed it without hitch.
I can't navigate to the selection of launcher during the 1st boot after installing using usb mouse (unfortunately, I don't have the remote anymore since I always use a usb mouse)
Any workaround?
Please help!!!

Hi folks,

@Villa @MINIX - John are there plans to release a stable version of Android 7.x.x firmware or even 8.x.x for the U9-H or this box is also unsupported regarding future updates?
Sorry to ask this for the millionth time, but there are many, many questions about this in the forum, but no one centralized, official info....
