Kodi version is 18.4 and it looks also bad if I use Mx player
Need help
Tnx guys

If your video looks washed out then your HDR setting is not good.

Check it in your TV settings (extended mode)
Minix settings (HDR on, 10 bits)

Your 4K movie could be HDR 10 bits. If you play it on a 8 bits TV then colours are washed.

Yes i will sone as i come home from work
What kind off files is best to download in my casse

You have nothing to do with your U9. No need to update firmware.
You just can't play 10 bits movies on a 8 bits TV
Select only 8 bits movies, that's all ;)

I think the problem he have is when playing movies that have HDR.
The TV as said does not have HDR.

I think he can watch 10bits and 8 bits movies.
U9-h can play 4k hdr 10 bits and 8bits.

I have for example a 1080p (that i noticed) 10bit movie and of course 4k HDR movies
Which means we can have 10bits in 1080p

For example minix x8h plus don´t decode 10bits (4k or 1080p), only play 8bits.

@mkivid all your 4k movies looks bad ?

Or just new movies that have 4kHDR ?
Check with the tool that @Skynet provided.

Most 4k movies are now HDR.

Are all 4K/UHD Blu-rays in HDR?
No, although most newer ones are. You'll want to look at the box. First, make sure you're looking at a newer 4K/UHD Blu-ray and not an older one. It's pretty obvious, since usually 4K/UHD is printed right at the top.

Finding out if the disc supports HDR isn't much harder. In most cases, there will be some kind of "HDR" sticker on the front of the box. This lets you know that the version on the disc is set up to play in HDR if your TV is compatible. Be mindful that many of these movies come with digital versions that you can stream, and that version may or may not also be available in HDR.

I tested and it works good, useful information.
We learned with time.
