Netflix app

Hi to all,
I tried to isntall Netflix app (classic and Android TV one) on NEO T5, but nothing, it doesn't work :(

Any solution?

is this device also not google certified for netflix? do we have to install it manually? is full hd? hd ready? 4k? I have 2 u9 devices ... and it's a shame to see low resolution netflix ....
 
is there any hope that they will solve the netflix problem?
i am still waiting for u9 to fix it-.......... and i'will wait for ever!

It's not a firmware or hardware problem.
None of our media hubs - running Android OS or Android TV OS - are Netflix certified.
So, they do not support Full 1080p HD or 4K UHD Netflix.
It's not possible for our media hubs to gain Netflix certification.
 
I have a questions for the users of t5 here... it has chromecast built in. I don't understand why can't i cast Netflix from my phone to this device? Can someone enlighten me pls. And i notice some of the app doesn't detect the chromecast. Youtube has no issue though.

Is there some setting i am missing? I have a smart tv at home. Whenever i try to cast it won't show t5. But youtube shows my t5 and smart tv.

Any idea?
 
So aftering decompiling the latest version of. Netflix from app store we are able to see some xml Java call backs which appear to denote which hardware is compatible. Will continue to test this on t5 to see if I can bypass the app not supported

But you're post is not relevant to the Netflix app on the T5.
You issue is with other apps other than YouTube not finding T5 Chromecast.
You don't actually mention whether you are using Netflix. I made the assumption that you are referring to Netflix on you phone!

Yes because netflix is not certified at the t5. It is simple not allowed to cast it using the chromecast. As far as I know this is part of the android tv certification. Right @MINIX - John ?

Sounds more like it is because Netflix is not certified on his phone!
Maybe?
