Audio problem with Kodi

Hi,
don't know if there is a more appropriate forum section where to ask...

My problem is that when I start playin a video in Kodi (v18.5) first 2 or 3 seconds of audio are dropped..
It happened for every video i watch.
Only solution is to disable automatic framerate switch.... (it was set at start/stop video)
There is anything I can do to solve this without disable that option?

With U1 and XBMC this happened for about 10% of movies I watched, now it happens always.
The box is connected to my TV directly with HDMI cable (the same I was using with U1).

Can you please be a little clearer about what is going on Max!!

What exactly are you saying? That every movie file you initiate takes 2-3 seconds for the audio to kick in as the display switches frame rates?

After the 2 or 3 second delay does the audio then p!ay normally & as expected, or is something else happening after that time?

There is also a setting in Kodi specifically to set a "delay after change in refresh rate". (Settings -> System -> Display.) Try reducing it & see if it makes any difference. If it's already set to zero, try setting it to 0.5 seconds ;).

When you're using framerate switching there is invariably an audio and/or visual delay of a couple of seconds for everything to be processed & synch up accordingly.

You can tweak the above setting to delay playback if it's taking longer than normal for the audio or visual component to kick in so to speak.

Is that of any use or do you mean something else altogether entirely lol ;)???

Set to 3 seconds and it works! (not a big problem for me waiting 3 secs before video starts playin).

(it should have been a beer but there isn't such emoticon in this forum :) )
