I switched from U1 to T5 and kept same kodi leila 18.5 + 18.5skin

I calibrated the screen within kodi and the T5 fprget every time what I did
I didn't have that issue with the U1

is it a T5 issue or a Kodi (or skin) issue or ..... something else???

thx for any reply

Kodi GUI screen resolution in android devices (that i tested) are limited to 1080p (you can see that if you have a 4k TV for example)

I have no problem (and with T5) calibrating screen with kodi 18.5 using default skin.

Edit: the only problem that i have is the position of the subtitles (dont save position) but i dont use many times (only when the device wake from sleep, shutdown is fine).
This kodi subtitles position issue happens in all minix android devices that i tested (in windows is fine)

it doesn't matter what res I use, T5 (or Kodi) is not remembering my ca;ibrate settings
Subs are no issue

Hi ArMa,

It would help if you gave more information :).

Firstly, is your T5 up to date with the latest firmware? (Version 9.3.15. If you can please check that.)

What display settings are you using for your T5? (Have you used the "auto switch to best resolution" in the T5's display settings, or have you turned that off & set your resolution manually?)

What is your TV? (Make & model number.)

Are you using an AVR? (If yes, make & model as well.)

If you can determine the above first, we can then look at Kodi for you next :).

@ArMa

try first what @ArcticWolf suggested.

And later you also can try these:

-kodi default skin - estuary
-kodi default settings/system/display

-if the problem remains i think it is better to do a kodi clean install (before change other things)

I use in kodi :
default skin estuary and
default settings/system/display (in this i only change video calibration)

@ArcticWolf @notrui

sorry for the late reply

Arctic Wolf tip for setting off auto switch and setting resolution manually did the trick!

THX all for helping out
Hi.
Happy to see is now working for you :)

In all my android devices (T5 included) i have enable "auto switch for best resolution" in display settings and i don't have that "calibrate issue" (only that subtitles position ... )

But if you put in manual resolution and it is now fixed let it be like that.

Check again your kodi configuration: (if you want)
I have default settings/system/display in kodi 18.5
