Try (worked at my device):

1 - Open a terminal
2 - iwlist wlan0 freq (to check the freq)
3 - sudo iwconfig wlan0 freq 5.7 (Or any other freq)
4 - sudo reboot
5 - After reboot open a terminal
6 - Check if the new freq is used: iwlist wlan0 freq

Let me know
KAR

yes I get out of the list with the 5 Ghz frequency but I can not save it after restart it stays on 2.4 GHz.

Try another freq. I've done the same and works fine. If it does work try my version please.

After installing the Ubuntu image from the above link onto my Z83-4, I'm able to boot into Ubuntu, and use wifi, but there seems to be no audio device configured (see screenshot). I've done some basic troubleshooting, but had no luck. Output from 'alsa -l' is attached in screenshot. Do you have any ideas about why the OS would not detect an audio device and populate the Sound Output Settings window?

I've tried both with comma and dot ... but it does not change setting it always stays at 2.4GHz after reboot.
