I have connection problem with my Neo C and etnernet on Macbook 12. I thought it is problem with damaged cable but charging works and mose too. I don't know what to do. Sometimes it works and sometimes not.
I have Neo C for few years and it worked good but recently I have problem.

Thanks for help.

If you're using the original MINIX NEO C, USB-C Multiport Adapter then you may need to update the Gigabit Ethernet driver.

The latest Gigabit Ethernet driver is available to download from here:

Please let me know how you get on.

Hi,
I'm using MINIX NEO C, USB-C Multiport Adapter on my Mac Book Pro 13" (macOS Catalina ver 10.15.1). Everything works fine except Ethernet..., which simply does not work.
I've downloaded the below drover:
https://www.asix.com.tw/download.php?sub=driverdetail&PItemID=131
I cannot finish the installation however... The process is blocked when the program intends to install some scripts and does not move from there.

Please let me know what to do.

Hi I'm using an Minix Neo C, usb-C multiport adapter. My ethernet is not working anymore? Is there a solution? The links to the drivers in previous reactions do not work anymore.

Please download and install the latest driver version from here:

https://asix.com.tw/en/product/USBEthernet/Super-Speed_USB_Ethernet/AX88179

Scroll down to ‘Download’ > ‘Software & Tools’ > ‘Drivers’.

After installing the driver, the adapter will be compatible with macOS Big Sur.

I tried this, and even after disabling SIP and enabling developer mode I get the message "ASIX_USB_Device_Installer_v1.0.0ds.pkg" can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

Any ideas? My hyperdrive ethernet adapter on the MacBook Pro just kept working with Big Sur, but it isn't compatible with my MacBook 12"

Unfortunately, there is no stable driver update available at the moment.
The stable driver update should be released within the next 4-6 weeks.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused at the moment, and appreciate your patience.

14 weeks later, still no driver...

Driver 1.1.0d2 shows a May date and isn't a beta - but still won't load. Same error message. Time to bin the Minix and buy something else.

I tried with version 1.20, dated 17-05-2021. Still does not work. You get get the software to install OK, but the Network Setting than claims "Cable not connected".
Tried different USB-hubs and ethernet cables. All without luck.

Where is the driver, guys? I have 3-4 Minix devices, and now I can't use them b/c the drivers are outdated. Extremely annoying.
