I have the same, what to do now?

Help. I followed the Burn Card Maker steps. I had an android symbol and a bar and says Upgrading. It was done then simply stopped sending signal to TV. it shut off and now I can power it (blue light on) but nothing shows upo on screen. Did I kill it, were there other steps to follow and I interrupted those by removing power cord and trying to resusitate ?

I watched the video again and the difference is that at the end of the upgrade it went nowhere and shut off. I cannot get it to send a signal to the TV. Please help .. I am travelling tomorrow and I need to take this with me ..

I managed to repeat the upgrade with the usb burning tool. What happens after it is done .... do I unplug .. do I power down .. ???
nothing is happenning and no signal is received from hdmi .. been 5 minutes now since the upgrade was done

Hi guys,
for the ones who can´t even get the upgrade bar, for me it worked this way (following the text file instructions):
"We keep the Flash Mode button pressed and insert the DC power cord to turn it on, wait for the update percentage to appear automatically"
I removed the power cord, I started holding the recovery button, I re-plugged the power cord and while pressed only once the power button.
Good luck!

OK, so the USB burning tool def wasn't having any of it so went down the SD card route. Up and running (for as long as Lollipop is supported at least!).

One Q, the settings button on the Minix Metro home screen doesn't seem to give me the same options as the last Kitkat version (e.g. the option to spoof wifi when using ethernet; No option for HDMI paassthru etc). It goes straight to the basic Android options where these Minix'd options don't exist?

Just wanted to say a big 'thank you' to all the people who made this update available to the NEO X8-H Plus user community. I've no doubt this was a big task that took many hours of your time. I ended up using the SD card update route, worked perfectly. Cheers

aded X8-H_Plus-Android_5.1-20170612-Burning_Tool.img file instead of your X8H_PLUS_LoLLIPOP_RC2.img because I think it's better.
Following to your instruction I did upgdate the box successfully. Thank you very much.

Could you please advise as i am having the same issue, I'm keeping the recovery button pressed with a pin and then i plug the device power cord and then i pres start once and wait but instead of loading bar i get recovery menu...? any ideas? card has to be FAT32? as i'm trying this on windows 10 and the only format option i have is exFat and NTFS.. tried both..same result... anyone could give me any tips? It would be really appreciated.

You need to use FAT32 format for your sdcard, i had the same problem. download a freeware program like AOMEI partition assistant to accomplish this in windows 10 for larger drives.

I did, but it wouldn't boot the image, i think it was because I had factory bootloader. i managed to install twrp and now it boots images.

After the update the blue let light which indicate the power of the unit is no longer working and it’s just hard to tell when the unit is on or off, is there way to fix it?

Are you sure that you are pressing ONCE the power button? Not hold it, just press it ONCE. I resolved in this way. Good luck

Hey guys, trying to upgrade my 8H to the latest firmware, however, I don't have a Windows machine so Burning Tool does not work. I flashed the image to an SD card using BalenaEtcher, but it's not mounting. I suspect the way it is created is not compatible with the Android Box.

Is there a Mac equivalent of the Burning Tool which work for flashing the image to my SD card to I can use it to boot?
