For résume ,this is the first officiel slimbox Rom ,and it looks great ! officiel minix rom how after one year can not show a simple wallpaper in full Size...?????? Time to wake up for Minix !

Some cool features and graphics in thé settings .....for a rom how coast nothing (they dont sale boxes) i must say that i was very surprised ...
Screen résolution,adjust screen Size..playstore, Fake wifi..works fine
There Is also update Button in thé settings ,so they will continue to work on it .. good work !
Need to résolved the problèm with a3 backlit (some buttons not work) and make this Rom work with touchscreen ..
PS : i found thé screenshot Button now ?he is in the power "section" not realy good place for it..

This "normal" Android rom is ?
For finish some pictures from settings

There Is also ATV version slimbox Rom for u22xj ?,

The soul (S) app give also acces to slimbox TV ,the official slimbox homepage (all language) from the développer with manuals... contact...news....

Thanks Ralf for your extensive review and pictures! I think this is the best and most stable rom available now for the Minix Neo U22-XJ.

I also only tested the Full Android version but I'm sure the ATV version is of the same quality.

I can't thank SlimHouse enough for all the work he's putting in the SlimBOX project. He's adding so much value to Android boxes for people all over the world. And I'm really excited that he's officially supporting the Minix Neo U22-XJ now.

By the way, I didn't like the Soul browser and replaced it with Chrome v57, that's the last version with properly working copy/paste.

OMG Just installed Slimbox software on my Minix U22 and everything is working like it should, just like the U1 did..I really can't believe it was that simple. Cut and paste works, Wallpaper works, Plex works without sound problems and auto resolution and frame rate too. No problems with any of my apps its like a different TV box. Please bare in mind, mine is plugged direct into my Samsung TV via HDMI and my keyboard I am using is the wireless Logitech K400+. I'm so pleased.

Forgive the novice questions. But can this be downloaded straight onto my minix, or does it require a reflash using windows computer and burning tool etc?
I have looked at previous posts,by the way. just want a simple answer, cos I only have a Mac.

You need to make manuel instal with pc ,it take 5 minutes

Thats wy i make détailled feedback with pictures....this slimbox Rom (v11.5) works great and have a lot of cool features ,like the autostart app when box start ,cool for Kodi,Plex,games,music...

All looks very promising, but does it fix the lack of multi channel AAC and other HD audio format support we see presently with the U22?

Also mention of browser support for copy/paste but does 'grab and drag' of webpages also work?

The best thing is to try it

For grab drag ,Scroll web pages ...,i try with minix a3 backlit and its same "shoot" Bad expérience ...?
The best is use touchscreen... ,but for the moment it not work with u22xj not with slimbox Rom and not with official minix rom ...

I'm using mine with an Synology DS918+ and I have many different file types all playing fine now. And AC3 and DTS is playing without a hitch. Remember though I am not connected to a home cinema setup, just straight to the TV via HDMI

If i come across any audio or video formats it won't play I will let you know. I will check with VLC, MX Player and through Plex

I went to Slimbox website, not sure if I can show link here but you can search google it was a Russian website and it says you can install with Micro SD card

Many thanks. Will go through all the posts again to make sure I do it properly. Just trying to find the idiots guide and step by step instructions.
