Disable red-light

Is there a way to disable the red-light from turning on when we press buttons?

I’m asking since it’s possible on the A3 by pressing the mic button (which we don’t have?).

Thx!

I was guessing the RF signal LED

I would say not possible on any of the MINIX remotes!

Alright, but I remember reading earlier today in the minixforum someone mentioning holding the mic button for 3-4 seconds to disable a light. I guess it must of been some other function which utilized the Front RF-light (blinks red) as well.

On a side note, I have 2 A2-lite remotes and noticed one is much slower than the other at responding after pressing on the DPAD. I tried both of them on the same box (inter-changing them) and the difference was night and day. One of them felt like it was lazy to respond and the other would be so fast that sometimes the RIGHT-DPAD button would double-move towards the right..

Any way of knowing how I can alter the remote delays-settings or accessing them somehow??

The A3 LED in question is the Mic LED with the musical note symbol!

There were some earlier A2 Lite's that had issues.
Are your two the same age or did you purchase them some time apart?

The slow remote: AN1702N
The quicker remote: AN1645N

That’s what’s written on the stickers in their respective battery compartments...
I believe those to be a batch number.

I have...
2 x V1 AN1507A - One of these is defective!

Also have..
V2 AN1645N and a V2 AN1648B

I can only imagine the quantity of batteries that got removed and put back after these comments... Worse if you didn't get the right side at first!
