Forum colour scheme

First of all, thanks for bringing back the forum.
However, I am finding that my old eyes are not liking your black text on gray background.
After a few minutes of reading/browsing I find myself needing to leave the forum pages, as my eyes simply can't adjust to the colours.
Hopefully, like most forums, you will change to a white background or perhaps use very light shades.
I also struggled writing this message on a green background. o_O
Thanks for your understanding.

I have lightened the background colour. Better now? Happy to make any neccessary changes.

Thank you.
But for me personally, I feel it should be a lot more lighter ... or preferably white.
Can you also change the green background when writing replies?
Also, when someone replies to a post and includes a quote, the persons name who is being quoted is in "orange" kind of colour, it looks horrible and very hard to read on the gray background.
I get the fact that black, gray and green are the MINIX colours....but they're not ideal for a background to text.

Also looking in to colour schemes that members can select.

@senzalice @ArcticWolf

I am terribly sorry @Villa, I missed this one ;(. Better late & all that lol ;).

The current scheme is a big improvement lol, it was like staring at a halogen lamp at first ;) :).

Indeed, even if there were just a couple of available colour/theme choices for members to select themselves. One light as is, one dark would do ;). A dark theme using the current "Minix dark grey" with the green text could be helpful to some. (The colours currently in use for the forum nav bar, (Home, Forums, What's new, etc.)

Just thinking of those who suffer from dyslexia or issues with vision who sometimes benefit from a dark theme :).

Hope it's on the "To do" list :).

I like too but we already tested black theme at the beginning but decided to revert to a clear one.
