I just got my box 4 days ago, I started it, connected to wlan and it made two updates (it's on the latest now).
Now everytime I want to start an app that requires an active internet connection, wlan disconnects itself. I can't use YouTube, playstore or anything. If I don't use any apps, the wlan connection is alwaa6stable and good, but as soon as I want to use the box, it disconnects.
Please help me solve this.
I can't use internet with cable, have no access to a pc, only my smartphone.

Hello and welcome. Your smartphone is working well with wifi?
Try a simple test:
-put your u9h near your router and test with ethernet cable.

If your router is working well you can try a factory reset on your minix.
If your router is not working well do also a factory reset on your router.

Sometimes the best thing is a factory reset when you change many things in the configuration (minix or router)

I dont know what firmware you are using but i recommend you a official firmware - marshmallow (in this case not the beta one) .

I use ethernet so i dont use the Wifi antenna, but since you use Wifi i recommend you using the u9h wifi antenna.

i would always suggest trying a simple reboot first ( minix, router, washing machine.....) before doing a factory reset ( losing all your settings) !!

Yes . You are right.
First a simple reboot or if that dont work pull the power cable.
A factory reset is more a "drastic" measure.
 
Thanks lot for your help, here is what I already did:

First did a normal reboot, no change.
Then wipe cache from recovery modus, no change.
Factory reset twice, no change.
Changed from dchp (?) to static IP, no change.
The antenna is of course used, since I thought it's necessary to use wifi

My phones work great with wifi, unfortunately I can't use cable, since the router belongs to my landlord who lives one floor beneath.
The box shows in the settings that the wifi signal is excellent, but as soon as I actually want to use it, it suddenly disconnects or the app says no network but when I go to settings the wifi is connected and signal says excellent.

What firmware are you using ?
Maybe you can do a firmware downgrade on your minix since you can´t modify and change anything on the router.

Check your minix wifi sinal strengh also.

In my house i use two routers connected by ethernet, one in ground floor and another in the first floor, with this configuration i dont have problems.
Maybe you have not enough wifi signal.


If the problem is wifi you can talk with your landlord and buy and use a wifi repeater (or something similar)

The firmware is the latest firmware downloaded by the box via that update app on the box.
The signal strength is full, and it says excellent.
I don't know if I can change anything on the box since I have no pc, only my smartphone.

When you say it disconnects, do you mean the icon of the wifi gets greyed out?

Also, do you know if that router at your landlord's is working on double frequencies, 2.4 and 5.0Ghz or is it in a single frequency? This one is really important, please let me know if you happen to know this.
 
Can you tell us the number? That way we can be sure if it really is the latest or maybe the update app doesn't detect something (considering the wifi issues).

The router is working on double frequencies, in the settings of the minix box it says it chooses automatically between the two.
I can't see the wifi symbol when I'm in an app, but when it's says no network or just not working I check in the settings an it says disconnect but as soon as I look it connects back on its own.
It's like the box is making fun of me.....

I can see an option before you change anything more in your minix.
Talk to your landlord and ask him if you can restart his router.
If his router is working well the problem is your minix firmware/wifi strengh or configuration.
I advice you to buy a wifi repeater because your wifi strengh/speed will always be low or fail .

Since I thought that the problem could be the router, we already restarted it, after keeping it 30 seconds of power (without power cable)... Sorry for my bad English

You can do this: put your minix near his router and test in wifi (not ethernet)
 
The wifi signal strength can't be the problem, I took the box town and tested it on the TV of my landlord which is right beside his router, the same problem occured.

Ok. You already done that. Maybe is in minix the problem.
But his router may cause the problem also.
I dont know if his router is working good , i dont know if he needs a firmware upgrade also in his router.
