sorry but I wanted to write in a single message ..... that is if the stable Nougat rom will then be put in the app of Minix Ota .. for possible update .... for all the people who are humbly not good with the computer but who would like to update the boxtv ... thanks guys

My best guess is only when, and if, this Beta is declared an Official release will it be considered to be put out via FOTA.

Please refrain from asking this and please contribute feedback to help improve this ROM if you are able! ;)
 
I see screen in settings is not working, it crashing when im trying to open it, and get an error message...
Othervice it loks like its stabil as far as I can see so far, thanks guys for this build and the work you put in :)(y)
 
this firmware is awesome.. finally good colour correction been made, no aac lags and 5.1 works with plex. thanks.
EDIT: OK button not working for some apps, gboard and aosp keyboard not working with original remote.

i only use netflix on my box these days...

Thank you for this rom. Having owned many variations of Minix over the years, This is the first time I can play my Local tv player smoothly on a minix. Fantastic work! Thank you.
 
Some apps cause mouse to crash. Example the apkpure app. [Link removed by moderator]

The pointer freezes and then duplicates.
 
Well so far down here in Puerto Rico my Minix Minix u9h is working great with the beta.video quality beautiful changing channel on my IPTV service great beautiful graphic beautiful design no complaints so far so good good job

Tell me where to get twrp for this firmware?
 
Apps that detect HDMI output, detect an external display if you change HDMI input . You then need to reboot U9 to get the app to play. 008FW didnt detect external display. (Earlier firmwares did detect external displays. This issue was fixed in 008FW .)
 
I'm really happy with this new firmware

but

What I'm not ,is that I have discovered that the Minix Neo U-9H is 64 bits, but the operation set are 32 bits, so we cannot install kodi 64 bits and use the full power of kodi, I feel that I have been fooled, been robbed so why advertise that it is 64 bits!!! it is not true!!!
 
The u9-h has 64 bits hardware and this ROM IS a 64bits ROM. Are you sure to have installed this 7.1.2 64bits FW?
