Absolute disgraceful to think that minix can carry on with what they are doing and just leave the people that bought the u9-h behind with no update and no answers to there questions.
But hey let’s see how long it takes before you lock/block this message just because we ask questions. I said it before I’ll say it again never buy minix again shocking customer service.
 
How long is the lifecycle of other brands according to you? What features don't work for you in this firmware that would have been fixed with a new one?

What is not working for you with the latest firmware on your U9-H? Maybe we can help.

I would not even take him seriously! People like the OP will never be happy no matter what,can't please everyone.However,I myself and everyone else I know with a Minix U9H are very happy with it and the latest firmware.

I can only imagine how bad this person would blow up if he purchased a Shield instead.

a shield is worst ?
i am just asking because i doubt between the new shield pro (2019) and minix u22-xj to replace my u9..
the main raision i doubt, the shield has android tv so not all apps will be available

The Shields in general are plagued with operating issues,check their official forum and read all about it for yourself.The new Shield pro is not worth the money,you pay more for less and a new fancy name.My money will be spent on the new U22 instead.
 
Blimey, I still use both my X8-H Plus and U1, both running Lollipop, and they still do everything I need, namely running emulators, YouTube and BBC iPlayer.
But come on Minix: write a script to randomly change a couple of icons/colours/fonts, rebuild the firmware and publish a link every week or so, that would blow those guys mind and keep them happy when they get to FW354.
 
Hey guys, I am still using my U1 and two U9s love them just wondering about how to update the U9s to your latest update. Can you tell me where to find the latest file, and the instructions please. What are the latest minix boxes that you have out? Thank you for your hard work and time.
