Minix U9 4k video looks washed out

I am novice in this HDR thing :).
Is very useful the tool.
I tested and it works good, useful information.
We learned with time.

Yes, it's a really good app. It can also helps you to find some bugs with movies (bad codec, bad encoding, etc ..) ;)

@notrui you can search and find 1080p x265 Hevc HDR when ripper set in converter encode pass 10bit and upload it.This is interesting for comparing with 4K 10bit x265 Hevc HDR from meter and a half distance of the Tv.☺

@mkivid your Tv is probably HU 55 7200 model from 2014.It's 4K with no HDR and only support 8bit Hevc within Tv.Most of the rips are in 4K 10bit HDR Hevc.Because it's older 4K Tv in my opinion is that you watch with Neo U9-H 1080p 10bit Hevc. You will not see 10bit colour but only 8bit because your Tv doesn't support 10bit and most of the rips are in 1080p 10bit Hevc.4K rips in x264 is very hard to find. Most of the Tv station in EU are now broadcasting in 1080i Hevc. You have older 4K Tv and that's it.

Actually, I found that running a movie through MKVToolnix also catches some playback related errors. It is quick(ish) and does not involve re-encoding. It is also a very useful way to add/remove or change audio or subtitle tracks.
