NEO N42C-4 - No Signal on Denon AVR

First Minix box so please be gentle ;)
When connected through my Denon AVR, I get the minix boot window, then goes to no signal.
I've connected it to 3 different computer monitors and two TV's (direct) with no issues.
Connected my computer to the Denon as well as an Android box and they both display.
I'm thinking it's configuration/setup/drivers on my Minix. Downloaded the driver package (took a real quick look) and most of the current drivers are much newer than the package ones. Should I roll back the drivers to what's in the package?
Guess I really don't know where to look.
Thanks

What display resolution is your AVR capable of passing through? What resolution are the monitors/TV's?

Have you set a manual display resolution in Windows or left it on automatic?

My N42C-4 is connected to a Sony AVR which will obviously have its differences. However, to answer your main question, I'm still using the original Intel display drivers pre-installed with the official Win 10 Pro image from MINIX & everything has continued to work perfectly despite since updating Windows itself. (If you're attempting to use 4K many AVR's have manual settings that you need to adjust from standard (up to 1080) to enhanced (4K). Double check the HDMI input you're using on your AVR for the N42C-4 is set to enhanced as well, (if applicable obviously.)

Rolling back the display drivers certainly shouldn't do any harm & it's obviously why that particular feature is there in case a driver update should cause issues.

Before you do start rolling back etc., can you boot the system into safe mode while connected to your Denon AVR? (If yes, that would at least give you an indication that there could be an issue with your current display drivers.)

Have you also checked to see if there is a firmware update available for your AVR? (Additionally, if you've recently carried out a firmware update of your AVR, try factory resetting as well. It's not at all uncommon for firmware updates to cause problems too which a quick reset of the AVR can remedy.)

HDMI cables. Obviously you've been able to determine you have at least one proven HDMI cable when directly connecting your N42C-4 to your monitors/TVs. Are you always using the same cable connected from your AVR -> TV or have you swapped that out for the purposes of troubleshooting as well?

Have a look at those for now or if it gives you an idea of something else to double check yourself, & come back to us if you're still experiencing problems :).

Thanks for the ultra quick and detailed reply!
Forgot to mention that I upgraded RAM to 16gb and the drive to a M.2 500gb. Don't think it's part of the problem but though I should mention it.
I'll give your suggestions a go this weekend to get this up and going.
Thanks again!

You're welcome :).

Doubtful the RAM or the SSD you installed are a part of this particular issue as the system apparently runs fine with a direct connection to one of your TVs/monitors :).

FYI, I've just double checked mine for you but my system is now rather annoyingly reporting 2 different Intel display driver versions being installed lol.

According to the Intel display Control Panel (the app itself), driver version = 26.20.100.7263.

According to the Intel graphics driver package as listed under the "uninstall/change programs" dialog in the Control Panel, I'm using = 25.20.100.6373

(I was originally just using the driver package included with MINIX official Win 10 Pro 1803 image which is probably the latter of the 2 above, but it actually looks like they got updated when I recently used the Win Update system to update Windows to 1909.)

If it's of any use, both versions of the Intel graphics driver packages above have always worked fine for me!!

Which package version have you downloaded/installed? (Obviously, if you can source either of the above versions they may help but bear in mind this could be an issue directly related to your Denon AVR too given that you've found a direct connection without the AVR to run OK.)

Whilst not particularly advisable, have you also tried hot unplugging & reconnecting the HDMI of your N42C-4 once it is running too? (Sometimes this can retrigger the display signal when connected via an AVR.)

Plenty for you to try or look at for now. Let us know how you get on :).

Hi.
I also think that upgrading to new RAM and new SSD are not your problem, maybe some setup/AVR related.
Follow @ArcticWolf advice.

If you have your original eMMC with windows 10 installed you can also check with that.
If with eMMC is working you must consider verifing SSD configuration.

Finally had time to check it out, life was getting in the way of my social time :)
Thanks so much, driver was the issue, installed 25.20.100.6373 and now I'm up and running!!
Thanks for all the knowledge and assistance!!
