Hi
I am quite a rookie to android systems and recently I bought a minix u9-h but I cannot get a connection between my Win 10 pc and Minix.
In my previous Minix (8) samba could be turned on/off and I could easily make a share to upload files to my Minix, but on this one I can't find it.

I installed Sambadroid, but the app fails with " root unavailable" message, and now I'm lost.

Somebody an idea?

Couple of questions:

I thought Samba support was not included in the latest version?

I can't find the above settings screens any more. I think it used to be activated by an "Advanced" selection from the simple settings screen, but I can't find that. Li'l help?

If you're on FW 008 you need to go to Setting, Device, Network, Samba Server... bottom of the list as indicated by @Villa in post #3

Build number is U9H-CE-191120-FW001. BTW, I got an error message when I tried an OTA update earlier this evening.
 
Yes, I knew that. I was confused because this string is from February, but the new version came out in January. I don't need Samba all that badly. Thanks.
