Follow below instructions to enable split-screen multitasking on MINIX NEO U22-XJ:

Reserved to accumulate all reported bugs.

Video:
Dolby Vision not working: Thread (Minix response here)
SDR to HDR off: disables HDR on local video file playback, on Youtube unaffected (Samsung 65Q70R)
Output signal remains triggered: here and here
Reboots reported on FW 004 while watching video (here)

Audio:
Priority: Multichannel AAC and multichannel flac not working correctly on passthrough (here and here)
Not possible to disable audio via HDMI to TV when audio is routed through SPDIF to an AVR, both transmit the audio simultaneously (here)
Occasional loss of audio from 3.5 mm audio jack which requires reboot to restore (here)

System:
Top status bar is not independant to bottom system bar, ie cannot be dragged down unless system bar is active.
Apps failing on HDMI despite Fake HDMI active (here) Removed from FW 004 while Minix try and fix the issue.
Apps reporting root despite root switch being deactivated.
Dark theme does not work (here)

CEC/ARC:
As long as the U22 is connected by HDMI it essentially blocks switching to any other input via the AVR, reports here, here & here

Network:
Settings/Network & Internet/Add new network - does not work when clicked (reported here)

Apps:
Nova Launcher: Widgets disappear after every reboot, numerous reports like this and other issues like this
Gmail will not allow continuation of an email from draft, clicking on the pen symbol to edit has no effect.

Remotes:
A2 Lite/A3: D-Pad does not work on the onscreen keyboard, it remains constant on enter no matter which letter you select. Reported here

Physical Keyboard:
Is there a specific reason that Generic.kl in /vendor/usr/keylayout has key 28 as DPAD_CENTER instead of ENTER? (here)

- Dark theme is not operational.

Can someone else confirm this bug?
Go to Settings>More Settings>Display>Advanced>Device theme>Dark.
White menus should change to dark gray or black, but stays bright white for me.

- Minix Neo A3 (no backlight) fails to pair after restart when Launcher 3 is set to default launcher. I don't experience this when Nova is the default launcher.

- Launcher 3 still loses widgets upon reboot. I don't experience this with Nova Launcher.

- Can not navigate home screen with D-Pad when Nova Launcher 6.2.13 is the default launcher. Works as expected on Minix Neo U9-H.

Wonder when the HD audio passthrough will finally be fixed, this to me is a massive bug & should be top priority!

Got a large collection of movies with dolby atmos & believe me, after hearing a movie with atmos you can't go back to standard 5.1, it sounds rubbish in comparison.

Regretting my purchase at the moment, although I do like the faster performance of the U22 over my previous U9 but this HD audio not working is a major issue.

Yes I agree that fixing HD audio should be a high priority.

However, in the meantime you should try CoreELEC on your U22 where Atmos / HD audio works fine, only AAC has issues.
As a bonus AFR also works fine as well. :)(y)

Unsure as to why CoreELEC can do this but Minix firmware cant

Call me stupid, but does this take care of the problem when HDMI is connected? Takes over the remotes and some will not work. Thanks

Can you expand on this one ?

I have an LG TV and if i play a local ( From NAS) video file that has HDR then it plays in HDR fine with SDR>HDR off. ( using Kodi)

IMplayer...Not displaying "Full" MAC address.
Missing one digit in the fifth row.
It could be the app.
It's no biggie, not sure I like the app anyway..
It's an Omen, I'll use something else.

While 23.976 content plays fine, I'm seeing occasional but consistent video hiccups with 24.000 content, almost as if it plays at 23.976, then needing to adjust at a fixed interval, every few seconds.

I'm using an LG OLED65C7P and I don't have this problem with the U9-H.

how are you activating Refresh rate switching, assuming you are ?
How do you know what framerate you are recieving on the LG TV ?

I set Kodi to update refresh rate on start/stop, just like I've always done with U9-H.
I don't know the framerate natively, but I know the LG supports 24p, and again, never an issue on U9-H.

I thiink you should investiagte how to determine the actual framrate being played on the LG. I have an LGC9 OLED and you can find this out via a "hidden menu". You may need to visit AVS Fourm for your model.

Refresh rate switching does not work on the U22 and is a known bug. [Agreed it does work with the U9-H]

I think your eyes may be decieving you somewhat :)

I am incredibly fps sensitive, so no, that's not what going on here.
