NEO Z83-4 Windows 10 Home OS image [1903]

Have you tried a download manager?
Yes, tried an add-on in Mozilla and a stand alone download manager, both no go. When I get a chance I'll wireshark this to see where the issue is, but no time today. Hopefully the file will land on an FTP server somewhere.

@admins please help with this

Is it the actual procedure that you're unsure of? (You don't make this clear?) If it saves you some time waiting for further replies it's incredibly simple, here's some additional info :)....

1) Format your 8 GB/16 GB USB stick in NTFS & rename the USB stick as WINPE.

(If you're uncertain how to do this? From within Windows, open a Windows explorer or simply double click on "This PC" on your desktop. (You'll see your USB stick grouped with any other drives.) Right click on your USB stick & choose format. (Be absolutely certain you select your USB stick & not another drive ;)!!)

Once the format dialog is open, you can rename the stick (volume label) as WINPE from there, choose NTFS for the file system, select quick format, click start. (The system will warn you that all data will be wiped so ensure that you've saved/moved any existing files from the USB stick that you intend to use first.) Confirm that you wish to proceed.

2) Unzip your downloaded official MINIX Windows 10 image. (Don't just move the zip file as it is on to the USB stick, it won't work.) 7Zip is a useful/simple free zip tool if you don't have WinZip or WinRAR, etc.

3) Copy/paste or move ALL folders & files that you've unpacked from within the zip file directly on to the USB stick exactly as they are.

Job done :)!! Your stick is ready for use to re-install Win 10 on your Z83-4. (Press F11 on boot to select your USB stick.)

As already explained above, Rufus is also an option if that's your preference :).

Does that clear things up for you or did you mean something else? Any additional questions or still uncertain, let us know :)

Some additions to the installation procedure PDF:
1. The latest instruction PDf mentions an older Image file, please update.
2. Select the USB drive per its manufacturer name, not "USB Drive"
3. A single folder will be created on ZIP extraction. You need to move all its files and subfolders to thee USB drive root (not leave the unzipped folder)
4. On installation, the system will (after 10? 15? minutes) prompt to, and will after a short time-out, reboot. You must catch this event and remove the USB stick before, otherwise it will restart the installation endlessly.

Sorry old thread I know, but i'm trying this on my Z83-4 and getting the attached, anyone seen?Capture.PNG

sorry but updating the BIOS version will still keep the license key to install the operating system

Yes

Is this the last version ?
I can't seem to get the MEGA download to work ? It downloads to a MEGA cloud directory, but then what am I supposed to do ?

Good news for me. I just got a Neo Z83-4 but it was locked. It was probably a returned product because it was new in the box all sealed.
Before jumping into installing I read everything I could about installation to be sure I know what I'm doing. I follow this instruction to install this copy of win10 home and worked flawlessly.
I used a 64Gb stick(the only one available in my house) and I just formatted and change the name to WINPE using a laptop with win10, nothing special. I didn't use Rufus to format, just click right and format. I think it took about 10-15 minutes for the windows to install before setting the services but it was without any errors.
The only small inconvenience was downloading this file and I had to let the laptop overnight which took probably around 8 hours to download. I have a fast broadband but this file will download very slowly for some unknown reason. It didn't matter as long as it works.
When I got the box I initially download and reinstalled windows from Microsoft directly but it took all the space on disk C, this version instead lets some 10Gb free. It's probably a modified win10 home to work perfectly for this model.
I use the box on a 55-inch 4k tv but you can't get more than 30Hz for that resolution so I changed to 1920 by 1080 and set 60Hz instead and I can still have a sharp image on that big screen. All videos are working great, I can't complain.
Thank you guys and keep up the good work out there!
