My Minix pc has been rendered unusuable after the disk was filled up with windows updates, to the point that it could not
function and it was impossible to reset the Windows because of no free disk space. So I was adivced by Microsoft to re install
from a USB stick, which has now turned out also not to be possible because of BIOS are not supported by Microsoft. Anyone has
been able to re install Windows on a Minix? I really regret buying thsi computer, I wanted somethin reliable and stable, which is not my experience with Minix.

A Z83-4 Plus has 64GB of memory!

I don't have any issues with Windows updates.

You must have a Z83-4 with 32GB memory?!

Villa - we too have 64Gb, and even stripped back (browser, zoom, OS, nothing else) we still have memory problems. We have to carefully curate the temporary storage of previous system files after installing updates during the period before windows removes them; and take care to deal with the core dumps held after crashes (which as you know are invisibly held over by the system until you know where to look). All of these take up memory, and problems are compounded during closely spaced updates, when the temporary cache can mop up the remaining space. It is also much more difficult nowadays to designate an external drive for update workspace - we have one oe 250Gb and it is next to useless in this context.

We have two other 64 bit OS10 machines used simply for zoom or skype calls - only the Minix gives us problems. Crashes are frequent, despite optimistic reported free space and ensuring that skype, zoom and the browser are updated immediately .

It would be helpful to people asking for advice for you to avoid intimating that there is no problem, merely because it isn't happening to you.
