Upgrade to Win10 Pro

Hello All,

I am giving away my old trusty Z-84 to my nephew's son. This is an older unit - not the "Pro" unit.

I have been running Linux on this quite awhile but wanted to send this with Windows 10. I remember all the trouble everyone had with this model when Win 10 wanted to update due to the storage limitations.

I have the original Win 10 OS image I made when the unit was new and would restore that as I have in the past, but wondered if there was a way to upgrade that Win 10 to Pro so the updates could be skipped if desired.
 
You can update it just after new Win10 installation.
Just clean every temp file, don't install any new app and that's good.

I was wondering if the existing license would be valid for Win10 Pro as the fist units did not come with pro?

No!
If your Z83-4 came with With Windows 10 Home then the license is only for that.

You can install Windows 10 Pro and use it without a license. There will be an Activate Windows message on the screen and some customisation limitations.
