MINIX NEO M2 2.4G Wireless Air Mouse

Nice for a small remote but I think a Play/Pause button should have been included (as on the M1)

+ even though my own spelling is awful there are a couple of mistakes I spotted
in the promo advert

I'm willing to bet it's just the power button, but I'd be happy to be wrong.

Off topic, but I hope the current Minix boxes are updated with a kl file for this remote or the remote works with the generic kl file built into the current FWs.

Looks like a basic remote that my wife could use without complaining.

Could i ask a few quick non-techie questions?

My standard U9 remote is starting to creak a bit and there is a direct replacement on ebay for £6; if i bought this item instead would it work 'out of the box' as a replacement for £11? I imagine the pointer would potentially do away with a lot of clicks?

AE also have a MINIX NEO A3 (with a hebrew keyboard) going cheap at £15 quid; would this work 'out of the box' and be a better solution still?

I should mention that i boot directly into Kodi under linux from a micro SD card, if this makes any difference?

Thanks

Yes.

Depends on your use case, if you would be needing a keyboard too then I would say go with the A3.

I assume you mean CoreElec, both remotes will work fine with CoreElec.

Thanks so much for this unequivocal advice. There's no downside to a Hebrew keyboard for a UK user, i.e. it will work as a normal English keyboard?

Yip, language settings for the physical keyboard are in the Android settings, it might just take a little getting used to on the keyboard itself I would imagine.

Edit: I see it still has the standard QWERTY keyboard so you should be ok.
