**NO LONGER WORKING** Tutorial Netflix 8.1.2 build 3844 -1080p on the T5

T5:
I already tested Netflix on T5 and it works well :).

U22-XJ :
i tested some standards neflix apks (and some of those works...) but did not find any Netflix ATV version (to work with just remote control , without using air mouse).

I had little time to test netflix but i would like to find (or modify) one ATV netflix version (i am using slimbox OS ROM).

I do not think it is possible @notrui I seem to remember reading that this hack will only work with the stock firmware and with the U22 being stock Android the ATV version does not work, I have tried everything with the U22 to get it working in 1080p but no luck so far.

Tested and confirmed working in 1080p on the T5 (test patterns).

***The Netflix apk required is already in the _INPUT_APK folder that is part of the BatchApkTool.zip download below so you don't need to download it in advance***

1. Download and unzip BatchApkTool.zip:

and find the file setShowsDialog.smali
- Open the setShowsDialog.smali file with Notepad++ and change the ESN number in lines 621 and 632 to:
"NFANDROID1-PRV-DV8553-SDMC=DV8553-15452-"
then save.

4. Go back to BatchApkTool.exe and enter the command: 05
(This command recompiles the APK)
- Wait for the compilation to finish!

5. Take the compiled APK with your ESN number from the _OUT_APK folder.

6. Install it on your device and use it!

I tried it on mine and would not install. My older one worked till yesterday dont know what happened cleared cache data reinstalled. Maybe log out and try?
 
Working now not sure what fixed it. Logged out reboot log in. Logged on with my desktop which was one of the errors couldn.t find netflix
 
I even uninstall the app and reinstalled it. What did you do on the pc side? Ihave a minix t5. It was working flawlessly.
