Update to Win 10, my 2022 experience (finally worked)

Hi, just to share my experience.

Minix z64 with win 8.1 from the 2016, always with too little space available on disk, I don't know why (less than 1Gb), unable to delete windows update files, decided to manually upgrade to win 10.

First I tried with standard USB windows installation (media creation tool), but the installed OS always restarts, then I completely deleted the present partitions (boot via USB with GPARTED), at this point always blocked on the UEFI shell, impossible to update the bois, not even manually from the UEFI shell, the JCRTS183.BIN file in the official rar does not seem compatible with the bios installed.

Then I found a zip with a different firmware:
https://theminixforum.com/index.php?threads/neo-z64-w-bios.67/ at the post # 16, JCRTW183.BIN, I could finally update the firmware, manually, via UEFI shell (typically the commands are:
> fs0: (drive indicating where you booted from)
> afuefi.efi JCRTW183.BIN

But the files with the original image of the Minix win10 still do not work, the installation stops after few minutes, I tried again with the official Microsoft media creation tool with success.

At the end, you need to reinstall audio (and others) drivers as described here:
https://theminixforum.com/index.php?threads/no-sound-device-detected.1001/ post # 7

Windows 10 finally working (quite well).

PS Also tried to ISO boot with some LINUX distributions (lubuntu, mint, 32 or 64 bit), none worked.
