Command Prompt on Boot NEO Z64-W

Hello,
I have a NEO Z64-w running Windows. Works great for the task I have it assigned (listening to a SDR radio).

However, somewhere along the line I must have done something to it accidentally. Now, every time I power it up, it goes to a Unix like command prompt instead of booting Windows.. I discovered that if I type EXIT at the $ command prompt, it would boot to Windows and works perfectly from there on out.

Since I keep no monitor, keyboard or mouse on it and simply manage it via Team Viewer, this is a pain every time I reboot because I have to plug all of that in simply to type EXIT.

Does anyone have any clue as to what happened and hopefully how to correct this and have it boot straight through to Windows.

I would greatly appreciate any advice on this. Thanks!

Never mind. Solved it. The BIOS boot order got messed up. (how, I have no idea, never entered the BIOS on it before).

Holding DEL or ESC would NOT enter BIOS before that command prompt came up, so I found another way to enter the BIOS via Win 10.. details here:

I switched back to Windows boot mgr and everything is back to normal.
Thank you for the info on acess the BIOS within win10 ☺.
I did not know that was possible.
We are always learning and discover new things ☺

I knew that method of entering BIOS via Windows but when a device won't boot in to Windows and one can't manage to enter BIOS with the appropriate key then one might have a problem!

Have you plugged in any USB flash drives in particular, or even an external HDD? Do you also use a USB hub?

If a problematic USB flash drive is connected on boot, it can sometimes completely screw up the normal boot order & Windows essentially loses its boot partition. Usually unplugging the offending USB drive solves the problem straight away but it's possible that things can get completely out of whack afterwards, even in the BIOS ;).

Worth remembering if you are connecting USB drives :).
