Yes should play it. Search for Neo N42C-4 @google and you will find some reviews.

Yes, the N42C-4 plays 4K media absolutely fine & I've never experienced any problems with 4K. (The device is capable of 4K@60 but please be aware that the HDMI port has a 4K@30 maximum, (HDMI 1.4) if that's a concern for you :).)

They're great little devices & surprisingly capable too :).

Good point ;)!!! I should have been clearer there & I've edited my post accordingly to save any later confusion :). (Obviously my original comments were with regards to the HDMI only.)

I only use HDMI with my N42C-4 as well which outputs to a 4K TV via an AVR. 4K all works perfectly well & as expected. I haven't had any problems with x.264/x.265 either :).

As far as I'm aware it's possible to use the USB-C to send a 4K@60 video stream to a TV & also use SPDIF to output the audio separately to an AVR or directly to the TV. (I've never tested mine as such, It's difficult enough getting behind my hardware to connect things as it is lol ;).) HDMI has always been perfectly good enough for how I use my N42C-4, if I need 4K@60 or HDR etc. I just switch over to the U9-H instead :).
