hi , i have new neo u22-XJ
a strange thing happens to me every now and then it seems that a shock arrives on TV.
I try to explain it seems that the signal does not arrive for a microsecond with relative noise.
I tried to change the power supply, HDMI cable, but it still happens.
with the previous neo-u9h it didn't. does it happen to you too?

Yes, that is a strange one, and difficult to understand/picture exactly what is happening ...what does the realtive noise sound like ?

black screen for a few ms, up to one second with relative noise (stoc).
With u9h it doesn't happen

È possibile riapparire questo problema? [/QUOTE]

no, I don't understand why it does, some days it doesn't happen

the problem presents itself with almost anything: prime video, iptv etc
in that case i would suggest that you could try a factory reset ( which will remove all your existing apps and settings) and then update to the latest firmware via FOTA. Then just add one "media" app at a time and see how it performs..

Hi all, long time Minix user first time posting to forum, am having the same/similar issue reported by kurmi. It presents almost as a millisecond loss of signal, the image would cut out but return very quickly. When the picture returns it is often with a bang or crack as the sound returns. Only appeared after updated to V004. Is intermittent so hard to get a video to demonstrate to you guys. May not happen at all and may happen 4 or 5 times in 5 minutes. Also happens regardless of what's being used, can happen while using an app, watching a movie or just on the home screen. Have tried factory reset twice, on two different TV's and with different HDMI cables, nno difference. All updates installed via FOTA. Any assistance would be kindly appreciated

Good morning folks, I have a Minix U1 this may or may not have any thing to do with it but, what media player are you using... I have upgraded to the latest Mx Player and from time to time while watching videos the TV signal just goes away like the tv says No signal, then, comes back in a few seconds.. I have my TV set to the proper Refresh rate and resolution... and it is connected via HDMI..Other than this little quirk It seems to be running fine. could this be the same issue?

Hey thanks for the reply, it actually happens during any state of use, so could happen when browsing in chrome, watching videos in any media player or even just sitting on the home screen. The signal cuts out but not for long enough to cause a No Signal warning from the TV, it's instanteous few milliseconds at the most. I also have a U1, works perfectly. My TV automatically adjusts to the input resolution and Hz so what you've described sounds a little different. I have read in the forum there are HDMI issues with the amlogic chip apparently, if there a possible link I'm not sure

hi

I did upgrade mine pretty soon so it's possible the issue was present before I updated, I don't know if there is anyway to roll back to a previous firmware so can't know for sure. It's annoying otherwise the box works pretty good, even with the other reported issues. I have noticed though if you go to settings and change the resolution from 4k to 1080 it makes the issue worse. What resolution is your minix set to?

Update: After diving into device and Minix settings a bit more I've found a solution that, after a few days of testing seems to work for me. Firstly factory reset. I've set the resolution of my device to full 4k at 60Hz, CEC is turned off so too is Dolby vision (I doubt the latter has anything to do with my issue but I don't need it atm so is off for now). So far no repeat of the signal cut outs. Strangely I can induce the issue when I set the resolution to 1080 at 50 or 60Hz, not sure why. Maybe @kurmi check your device resolution settings and go from there?
