A2 lite doesn't work on U22

I just got my u22 xj replacing my u1 but it doesn't work.
When I turn it on it says choice launcher but my air mouse doesn't work and once or always is greyed out.
I am using an A2 lite remote,is this compatible.
I misplaced the cheap remote or would try that.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried with the stock remote that comes in the box? A2 Lite is compatible it's what I use on my U22.

I found the stock remote and it worked except no air mouse. Should air mouse work on stock remote?

Hooked up U1 and now my A2 wont work on it.

Once before my A2 quit and I looked on the internet and found how to reset it. I will try this .

Batteries are ok I presume ? There is no AirMouse on the stock remote unfortunately.
 
OK I was mistaken on my U1 everything works correctly with the A2.

The stock remote works correctly on U22 XJ if there is no air mouse.

The A2 does not work at all on the U22 XJ except for power on.

So I don't know if the problem is if I need a new remote or a new U22.

Again I presume you have taken the A2 dongle out of the U1 and put it in the U22, assuming so have you tried it in a different USB port on the U22?
Just out of interest what firmware is the U22 currently on?
 
Thanks for the help. Changed batteries twice. I will call Amazon tomorrow and see if I should send back or try new A2.

stock remote is worthless

Woah don't be so hasty, you haven't answered the questions yet.
1. Are you sure you have the USB dongle for the A2 removed from the U1 and plugged into the U22, if so have you tried it in all three USB ports of the U22?
2. Look in settings/about and tell us what firmware your U22 is on either V001, V002, V003 or V003A

Don't be so hard on yourself, your post could possibly help many other users if they find themselves in the same situation. Glad you got it sorted and prevented a return to Amazon (y)

I do the same thing. I'm constantly messing with both my U9-H and U22-XJ. I forget which device has the dongle and wonder why the remote's not working. LOL! Being absent minded is not being dumb. The U22-XJ is the first rooted device I've had. I just recently discovered the magic of modifying .kl files. I decided my Neo A3 would needs Previous/Next buttons more than Rewind/Fast Forward buttons. Have fun, ask for help, contribute when you can.
 
New problem with remote. The A2 Lite that came with the U1 stops working after about 5 minutes. I unplug and replug the U1 and it works for another 5 minutes. Not a battery problem. I have reset the remote. Any ideas?

In case I can't get U1 remote fixed is there a way to get my new remote for U22 to also work on U1.

The A2 lite shoud work with either the U1 or the U22, not both at the same time though, which ever one the dongle is plugged in to.

Please make sure you are using the correct dongle with its correct remote. Each dongle only works with the correponding remote, you can not swap the dongles between the remotes.

Also, please make sure that your older remote is in fact a "Neo A2 Lite" and not a "Neo A2" (without the "Lite") as the latter is not compatible with the U22-XJ.

Other from that I can't think of anything else to cause that situation.
 
Thanks you guys, I forgot dongle must match remote.

Like I said before my old A2 lite only works about 5 minutes and then if I restart U1 it works another 5 minutes.
I switched the remotes and now same thing happens on XJ22 so it looks like I need a new remote for U1.

Sorry I should have been able to figure this out before I posted.

Is this thé same for the a3 ? I buy the a3 and not the a3 backlit for thé u22xj
