I am confused. I saw an advertisement saying the machine can expand to 1T SSD capacity.

Question:
1. what is the largest SSD I can insert into the j50-c?
2. does the maximum SSD capacity hold true for Plus (pre installed 240G SSD) version and/or the 64G eMMC version?

I want to buy a 512G (or 1T, if it works) SSD for my machine but don't want to waste my money on something doesn't work.

Please help. Thank you.

Pre-tested compatible SSD's or SSD's other users have successfully used are listed on the forum here....

Purchase from the compatibility list that ArcticWolf linked to, it's the best way to avoid wasting your money.
