About to give up on UH9

I ended up buying a Shield for the main TV and it's great. I still have 2x UH9's that I've been playing with but I can't find a wife-friendly rom. The closest I found was the stock Minix FW008 but the deal breaker was no remote input for the Netflix app.
I also took one camping and had difficulty staying connected to my Note 9 hotspot. It would work find after connecting but after a while, it would disconnect and refuse to reconnect, even after rebooting the N9 and UH9.
Before I give up and ebay these units, anyone have suggestions for the above or a Netflix app with remote control capability?

Which remotes are you using? (Those included in the box or A2's/A3's?)

The specific Netflix version installed on your U9-H's may help too if you could check.

Hi, I've tried the A2 and the air mouse works but the WAF (wife acceptance factor) is very low.. I also tried the small IR remote.

I've tried several versions and 5.31 was the only one that worked for me.
