Accessing the files on my Minix on my PC wifi network

I have managed to bring up my Minix on my PC wifi network, but every time I try to edit or alter any file I get a message that I don't have permission to access that file.
Is there something I have to do to allow access ?
 
IS the MINIX box you have an NEO U9-H?
Were you using "ES File Explorer" to access the files on your box?
What does the notification say when you are not permitted to access those files.
