Activating windows 10

#1
I have updated the bios to 1.83, then installed the 32bit windows 10 that's available on the forum. Windows reports it cannot activate because the previous version of Windows was not activated.
Windows 8 was activated but it was a fresh install so why would it matter.

I have not signed in to windows with I Microsoft account, only ever local accounts.

I have over 80 z64's I would like to out w10 on so really hoping for a solution.

I have tried software to retrieve the key from bios but that did not work.

We use them as thin clients for citrix, I have at least 40 Z83-4 as well, they where more strait forward though.
Thank you for the guide I will follow it and report back.
Do you think it will be possible to get to a point where I can image the minix with macrium reflect and push it out to the ofther minix, it takes 24hours to get though all the w10 updates, let along w8.1 aswell lol.

I dont think anything about this is illegal, considering microsoft themselves allows you to upgrade from 8.1 to 10 still, and this device should be licensed.
*********.
(i removed the tutorial as it is totally illegal)
Please don't post things like this on this forum.

I have another minix checking out the w8 route as we speak.

I dont understand it obtained a digital license from microsoft directly which is what the guide posted by Villa ultimately does. What part was illegal?

Im still working on getting marcium reflect working again. It used to require a 32mit version of WinPE 4, am trying to create a boot media on another minix i have installed with the windows 10 image so the drivers for the minix are part of the boot image. will let you know if i can make a deployable authenticated image.

Yeah I used the Windows 8 key and made it valid for windows 10 using an official microsoft server. the diffrence is that installing the windows 10 availabale on this forum means days less time spent updateing and a far lass bloated windows install at the end of the process.
We are both registering the windows 8 bios key with microsoft and making it authenticated for windows 10.

To prove this i have done the same process on a standard desktop and it does not work at all because there is no bios/hardware based key availabale.

This also helps me with imaging, i can get an image from 1 minix and replicate it out in 10mins to another minix, then just have to register the key, so has saved me months of waiting for updates. so there is a need for this method :)

Thanks for the guides though would not have realised there was an easy way for my needs without them.
