After factory reset, screen is blank

I did a factory reset on my U1 and since then the screen is blank. Tested on two different screens.
I've re-uploaded FW011, FW012 and FW013 and each time on first boot, I get the android logo and then a blank screen. Interestingly on each subsequent cold boot, I don't get the android logo. Just the first boot after imaging.

I also have an SD card with LE on it and that boots fine but no picture. I can even start media via the web interface and I get sound but no picture.
Is there a failsafe to getting the picture back?

My displays are Pioneer LX5090 and JVC HD950.

I have a backup X8-H which works perfectly on the same displays.

Have you tried reflash firmware?

I dont know when you say "re-uploaded" you mean flash the firmware, so i dont know if you reflash the device.

Try with 013 firmware:

Yeah I used the burning tool for each of the firmware versions I mentioned. After each first boot I get the android logo and then nothing.

Test using only minix device and tv.
The first time you flash a ROM the device takes more time to boot OS.

Yep, done that. It appears to be defaulting to a resolution my screen/pj can't use.
I can use the remote and hear the GUI sounds when I move the cursor left, right etc. So I know it's up and running. Just no picture.
When I boot off the SD card into Libreelec, that boots and I can start media from the Kodi remote app or web UI, but again, no picture anymore.

Hum strange.
Try with another cable/hdmi input if you can.

Try also with the same cable as your other device x8h.

The U1 was working perfectly until I factory reset it.
The same cable with the x8-h works perfectly.
Ergo, the cable is good and the factory reset changed something.

You can try with another PSU.
Try also the recovery menu as @pusb87 said.

You could try simply unplugging, wait a few seconds and then replugging the hdmi cable into the Minix whilst it is on and connected to your TV. Also try a different HDMI port on your TV.

.

And we're back! Thanks @pusb87 :D
Powered on, then plugged in the hdmi cable after 30 seconds or so, picture appeared! I set the resolution auto detect to off and fixed it at 1080/50, rebooted, still good. Put it back in the rack on the original PSU and HDMI cable/TV input and we're still good.

Ok. Happy to know it is all good now.
Sometimes the best thing to do is let the Minix "rest" for a time (minutes for example) , with the powet cable off.
Another thing i advice you to do is Shutdown the device if you are not going to use for a time.

Dont do these:
-device is booting OS and you pull the power cable.
-device is turned on (with os booted) and you pull the power cable, like windows OS this procedure is not good.
-device is in sleep mode and pull the power cable , is not good also doing this.

The same "rest" procedure i advice you to do if sometimes you have any problem with OS upgrade.

When we have a similar problem like yours (and i had a few as well) one of the things to do is the "rest" procedure:
-unplug everything connected to the device :
External usb devices, hdmi cable, power cable, rj45 cable, etc

let the device rest for a time alone ☺ and then connect again the device just with basics : hdmi cable, power cable .

Then if it works we can connect the rest
