Hi. Could someone please advise as to what version of All 4 Apk they are using on U22.
I have the latest version 9.2.1. But when it loads it states, "not available in your location", despite using my VPN at my UK home address.

That is to say, I sign in without any issues and the Vpn is already running from a UK server.

I uninstalled the latest version of the Apk and downloaded version 9.0.4 and it is fine first time round.
But next time I loads; it states, "forced update".

I ignore that, clear cache and data.
And then it works until next time it is loaded.

I cannot get the official app, because I live outside of the UK.

I hope that this message does not break any forum rules.

I'm in the UK using 9.2.2. (it never seems to show updates for it on the usual Google Play page and I have to search the app and there it says an update is available).

Just tried it with my VPN running (IP Vanish) and tried a couple of random UK servers and both live and catchup programming works fine. So maybe it's your VPN, have you tried different servers? Also it might be worth trying Ireland as a location where while live TV won't be available catchup might work.
 
Many thanks. But are you using the Google play store app? Because I am referring to the APK version, owing to the fact that I cannot get the Google play store app as I do not live in the UK.
 
If you are using version 9.2.1 (or update to 9.2.2) I can't imagine the Play Store versions are going to be any different to the apk you'll get via a different source.
 
It seems I have not explained myself adequately.

I am not using an APP from play store because it is not accessible in my country. Hence my post was purely regarding the use of an the All 4 APK.

I was asking anyone who was using the APK version on u22, what version they were using.

Anyway, I tried all your suggestions using Nord Vpn on the latest version of the APK, which did not work as per my original post.

So, I am back onto version 9.0.4, which works for now.

But thanks for trying to help?
 
Just updated to 9.2.2 and still working just fine!

@dak7385 maybe the latest versions are blocking VPN

I've always used Smart DNS rather than VPN

@Johno100 is in the UK so using a VPN set to UK in the UK may not trigger the app detection the same.

Yes, I fully understand what you are doing and why.

To humour you I've just uninstalled the All 4 app I got from Play Store, downloaded the apk from APKPure (version 9.2.2), set my VPN to a UK server and it again works fine. So I think we can rule out the Play Store version being different from the APK (well at least the apk I installed) as being the root of your problem.

Many thanks for your help. I have contacted Nord Vpn to see what they can do about adding smart dns to my package. And out of courtesy will let you and @'johnno100 know the outcome.

Just tried out my custom dns from my dashboard with Nord Vpn, whilst waiting for their reply. Will not load the programmes.
Would you mind giving me the smart dns company that you use.

Just to update you. Thanks to the patience and help from @ villa, I have now set up a smart dns and it works fine on 9.2.2. Many thanks for your previous help.
