Android 5.1.1 for NEO X5 Mini

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if it's possible to install Android 5.1.1 for the NEO X5 Mini? I am looking to install an app but it appears to be incompatible with 4.2.2.

My understanding is that 4.2.2 is the latest firmware from this site, but is it possible to install a 5.1.1 version from somewhere else without the risk of bricking the device? And if so, what would be the method for installing said firmware on the NEO X5 Mini?

Hi !! I have the NOE-X5 Mini, Android Version 4.2.2 and Kernel version 3.0.36+of zeng@ubuntu of 11/03/2014. there is any actual released that will be supported by this unit ?

hi there. i have this unit here at home not being used, i know there are newer models out there but is it possible to still use these somehow? update them with some custom firmware?

i know that after a while they will stop serving us with original firmwares and some apps will stop working, correct?
