Android TV Or Not

I have a MINIX Neo U1 but I don't think it came with Android TV just stock Android 5.1. I read that Android TV performs better than stock Android in this application. How can I tell what version of Android is on this box?

The Version will be 5.1 android tv will never be available for the u1.

Only MINIX NEO T5 runs Android TV OS (Android TV 9.0 Pie OS).
All our other media hubs run Android OS.
