App problem

I have a problem with my Foxtel App on UH 9 , when I open it a message " You have to connect to the internet to use Foxtel Go.", even though I'm connected.
Yet on my UH 8 , I don't have this problem , anyone has anidea why this is so ?

I'm using VPN Unlimited to access Foxtel Go ,an Australian app, as I'm overseas.

Are you connected via ethernet or wifi? Some apps are fussy and only work via wifi.

Both apps were downloaded from the playstore? Could be different variations. Try sideloading the version that works onto the U9.
Thanks for your reply , I'm connected by Wifi , I think it could be that Foxtel detects I'm using a VPN , I also tried it on my mobile phone and have same problem whereas a few months ago both U9 and phone were working fine.
Still doesn't explain why the U8 is still working.I will try another VPN and see what happens.

If you still have issues then I suggest you try a Smart DNS service.

Which firmware are you using? (I.e. stock FW or have you flashed to the CE ROM?)
