App shortcuts freezing after lollipop update

HI, I have just updated my X8Hplus and have an issue with the home screen. I cannot delete/move the shortcuts that exist BELOW the line at the bottom of the screen, they also do not function and any shortcuts I try to place in there also are dead and do not move. ( Except the ones at either end, settings etc) Everything else appears to be working OK. Ideas please.
 
Ok. To be sure You can check your device in the back (Name of the label)
Give more details please:
What launcher are you using ?
I always used Metro launcher and i dont have your issue.
 
Just one thing.
In metro launcher :

if you want to remove a shortcut you have to do this:
-Click add (+ button)
-Then remove the shortcut you want by "uncheck" the app

If you want to add a shortcut you have to do this:
-Click add (+ button)
-Then add the shortcut you want by "check" the app

Hi, I use the other launcher, I have always preferred that one, its definitely the correct box and update. Aside from this question. Why does it come with minix XBMC 16.2 and not Kodi, its obsolete now? I have deleted it and loaded Kodi 18.2

Ok it is a X8H-PLUS.
Kodi is always advanced to newer versions, fixes etc.
Minix XBMC 16.2 is a modified version.
You can keep both versions Minix XBMC and KODI 18.2.
You can try a custom Rom as @Villa suggested.
