Atmos and dtsx

Good day guys, I was hoping someone could help me, I am very new to all this android box stuff but after reading around the minix neo u9-h might be the box for what I need?
So I have a question is someone could please help me out.
I am looking at ripping my 4k uhd collection into MKV format in HDR when possible and with all the audio bitstreams (most importantly the atmos and DTS-x tracks) as I have an atmos/dts-x receiver and 7.1.4 speaker setup and a 4k hdr tv.
I plan to put the backups onto external hdd's and play them through the minix using the usb connection.
Now my question is will the minix as it comes straight from the box new be able to play the 4k mkv files in full atmos/dts-x sound glory from the usb hdd (I do not plan on having a network or anything set up) or do I need to add anything like libreelec?
My setup would go something like this:
minix neo u9-h ::::::::::::> Samsung n950 receiver (with 4k passthrough) :::::::::::::> 4k hdr tv
Thanks in advance.

Yes it will work fine, the main reason I went to a U9 was exactly for that reason, at the time [and maybe still] almost all the boxes I looked at would not do atmos etc

on my setup its only work with libreelec (passthrough for atmos, truehd dtshd ...)
with fw008 our android 7 its only work with pcm (but i can't hear any different)

hi , the only way to play dolby atmos or dts x is with kodi? because MX Player says that does not support true hd format audio
