Audio on Optical

Yep tried it, I even uninstalled them and reinstalled it. It is not working. I also hooked up another player with SPDIF optical and that worked. So I cant be a the cabel or other settings. The only thing I not tried yet is analog. But thats anyway a no go for me. Any other suggestions?
 
Hi there I also have a problem with S/PDIF on Minix.

1) I no longer have the S/PDIF 3.5mm jack adaptor. Could you tell me where I can order one of these. I can't find it on amazon.

2) How do I activate the spdif in the bios for Windows 10? Could you give me some simple instructions or screenshots.

If you write spdif 3,5 in Google you find all you need... câbles,adaptors...
For activate spdif with Windows 10 ,its not in thé bios but in the audio settings normaly

Thank you. I tried to google it but don't get the same view as you do. I live in Japan and google doesn't show that adapter that you found. What country google are you using. I could not find this adapter anywhere yet. Thank you so much for your help.

The best is to buy cable ,not adapter ,but i can not say what you need because i dont know where you want connect the other side from the câble ..
Thé best is send picture for show us
One side minix other side ?
Example picture : Optical Jack to toslink câble

I would try asking Minix support to see if they can give you one. With a bit of luck they may have a bag full tucked away somewhere.

If not I think the 1st one you link to on amazon japan looks right.

Better buy complet câble(without adapter) Optical Jack 3,5 to toslink or to optical Jack 3,5... dépending what he need ....

Why, if he already has an optical cable ( assumed as he only said he lost the adapter )
