Can I disable Chrome updates?

The latest version of Chrome does not have working copy and paste functionality, so I always have to uninstall updates to get it back. By the time I open it again it has automatically updated to the latest version and I have lost copy/paste functionality again.
Is there any way of preventing the Chrome app from automatically updating?
Alternatively, is there a browser available with working copy/paste on the U9-H? (Firefox doesn't work either)

I've done a search for Chrome in the Play Store, but there is no 3-dot menu. There is just a search bar at the top of the screen, with nothing to the right of it, and an Update button which is the only option

its not that obvious .......

Open the Playstore on your U9-H
Click the menu button (3 horizontal lines) in the search bar
Select My Apps and Games
Select the Installed Apps
Scroll to find Google Chrome
Select it and you will now see the 3 dots in the RH Corner
