Can scroll to top navigation bar on any app

Updated and set up my new neo u22 xj today an while using the basic remote provided i noticed i could not access top menus which on previous boxes i could by pressing up on the remote. For example, I open up the youtube app and im able to scroll up and down through the videos but cant access the search bar at the top. Normally u just push up click and type but it wont access it. This is the same for all aps with this layout. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

You really need a USB mouse or preferable an airmouse to fully use the U22 or any other TV box which uses the full Android operating system rather than Android TV.
