Can't seem to reach the Forum!

As from this morning I started to get serious trouble to access the Forum. None of the Android devices (U1, U9.H, 4.4 smart phone, Android 6 smart phone, to mention some) nor the two computers Win7 that I used seemed to do the trick. Even tried the old desktop WinXP...

In the Android I tried uninstalling all the browsers, apps cache cleaning, History and Cookies deleting, machine cache cleaning, uninstalling Avast (when applicable), reinstalling all the browsers back (Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Opera Mini) back to the several devices, connecting to a different network of the same provider; connecting to a different network of a different provider; using with and without VPN to several countries.

The only website I can't get to work is Minix Forum, all other frequent sites are alive and kicking in all my testing.

I just regained access in my loyal and faithful win7 personal laptop, and this seems to be the only one capable of carrying the task, but I am getting a bit crazy as I can normally sort this kind of things on my side easily. My question is:

Is there some kind of situation on the Forum side that might be causing this to happen, or is this just my country locking me out as they maybe found out I'm spending too many hours enjoying myself?

Thanks

Yes, recent the server provide try to upgrade and re-arrange the server system.
And asked us to change the IP address.
Currently, the IP address has been successfully updated, while when I try to ping theminixforum.com, it still points to the old IP.
Seems the DNS has not yet been updated.

Hello i am getting the same problem. For now i only can reach the forum using my phone and only with 4G network. I tested many things, browsers , differents devices (wifi/ethernet), changing DNS, and nothing work, just my 4G mobile phone network (7.1.1 android with chrome)
I dont have VPN to test. I am from Portugal also.

Appears to be OK for me with Chrome and U9-H and with mobile connected to WiFi.

Haven't tried with Windows!

Ok. Thank you. If you can please try with another SO/device. I dont know what country you are from. I tested also in a wifi public cafe (different network ) with my mobile (wifi with chrome) and i also can't reach the forum. That public cafe (near my home) had a different provider.

In the meantime you can add this to your HOST windows file, it's a local DNS

27.111.82.91 theminixforum.com

The file is here : C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
Open it with Notepad with administrator rights

Hello. I had the IP address followed by the corresponding host name as you said and it now works (i tested in my windows 10).

But I never read it. However, today I changed my hosts file in the computer as per your great advice and everything is good in the computer, however when I try to access the post you mention this is what I get (sorry for portuguese...) so something very strange is happening since the IP in the above is the one that works in the hosts file.
