Clarification for multi-display output

Multi-display:
When you setup J50C-4 to output to two displays, and one is from USB-C port, then the USB-C supports up to 4K.

Triple-display:
When you setup J50C-4 to output to three displays, then USB-C support up to 1080p.

Please note, if you want to connect the mini-DP port on J50C-4 to an HDMI port on a TV, the adapter should be an active one, you may refer to this thread:

I'm familiar with the (I think) Z83) which required an active adapter from mini-DP to HDMI.

On the Z50C-4 (not plus) can I just use a cable for mini DP to DP for one monitor? Or will it need some kind of active adapter also?

That should just work. No active adapter needed!

Can I use mini DP -> HDMI cable (https://uk.hama.com/00053246/hama-mini-displayport-adapter-for-hdmi-full-hd) for N24C-4? No positive result when I try to use that one.

Is this cable active or passive?
