Color Space setting

I would recommend YCbCr 422, or 420 should your equipment experience issues with the large amount of data being transfered. But you can check this video that explains it quite well:

For the difference between RGB and YCbCr check this one:

Note: When you change those settings you are overriding the "Auto Switch to Best Resolution" setting which can cause some detection issues should your box be shared between several displaying devices.

I have buy my U22 10 days ago and was very unhappy with the pictures ..
After check i have see it was with Firmware 002 .. very old and bad picture quality
have update to 005FW and now is perfect and 4:4:4 work great !

tanks again for the help

The one thing I noticed about 4.4.4 is that, once I select it, "Color Depth Settings" gets automaticaly turned off, which doesn't happen with the other two lower settings. But it sticks, so this might be another issue in which each individual hardware setup determines different results.

TBH I'm still to even realise if I can notice any difference in the image by chosing any of the YCbCr settings, and when/if I do I am trying to convince myself it is not pshycological. I asked someone else's opinion, while hidding the setting, and the answers are also dissonant.

I agree, even though i have radar vision !!!
but i thought if the equipment can handle it dont throw it away !!

Minix U22 display settings and how they are supposed to be set are all a bit of a mystery, I guess they are mainly just what comes with stock android 9 ?

For sure though they should be changed so that the system doesnt default to DV/HDR just because your TV supports them.
