Connecting a AV Receiver to U1

I have bought a used Yamaha RX-V667 AV Receiver with 5 speakers and a sub.
My question is how do I connect it all up to the U1 so I get the full surround sound.

via HDMI would be your best bet to get the most out of the audio capabilities of the AVR

connect minix to AVR via HDMI
connect AVR HDMI out to your TV

in minix settings set audio out put to HDMI

if streaming from the internet its more than likely just to be stereo at best
if your using local files then this is a good tool to view video/audio codecs used >> https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo

its more than lilely that your AVR will display what the audio output is as well on its local display or via a TV menu option.

If your using Kodi as your media player you can call up the codec information as well >>> https://kodi.wiki/view/Codecinfo
