DAYDREAM - U1 - non US English languages - SOLUTION

Just in case someone falls into the situation of not being able to adjust the settings for DAYDREAM in the U1, I just wish to leave here the information that to go around this issue in the Neo U1 the trick is to change the box language to English (United States), make the changings to whatever you wish, and then set the language back to what you want.

I recalled this was a problem in the past, and just got to try it again with an up to date U1 box (FW013 20170629) to find it has never been solved, and so I thought about leaving this solution in case someone might still need it.

Hi CybeRider,

Wow, thanks for this tip! I setup a U1 today for a friend in Germany and had exactly this problem. I had changed the language to German before installing the screensaver and setting the Daydream mode.
I just tested this out also on my own U1 and bingo, same thing happens. Setting daydream using English (US) and only afterwards changing the language allows the settings to stick.
I don't think I would have come on to the idea of this without your post. Awesome! :)

Good to know. Thanks.
Almost two years past from this post, and just breaking five years from its launching, the U1 keeps a solid place as one of the best Android boxes to have. This is awesome! (y):)

See, you're still useful in the present despite a few more gray hairs & frown lines ;).

It's nice to know some users are actually capable of searching for a solution themselves on the forum as well lol ;). (Mentioning no names ;).)

Thanks @ArcticWolf. "A new broom sweeps clean but an old broom knows the corners.", I guess. ;)
