I have downloaded 1903 to a stick (N42C-4-Win10_Pro_1903-20191107 (1)). It is on drive D on my computer. I take the stick and inserted in the Neo but refuses to open. I was hoping to look at the bios.
I have inserted WD Blue 500gb SATA SSD and Crucial CT2K102464BF18GD 16 GB Kit (8 GB x 2) (DDR3L, 18GG SODIMM 204 Pin.
What am I doing wrong? I am relatively new to this.

What exactly are you trying to do? The image you've mentioned above is an official MINIX Windows 10 image (1903), not a BIOS update/flash files, etc.

If you're simply attempting to install the Win 10 image to your new SSD, have you formatted the USB stick to NTFS and definitely renamed it "WINPE"?

Otherwise, have you followed the full procedure here linked with the 1903 image....?

I have formatted USB stick to NFTS and renamed it WINPE. I then unzipped the stick to reveal the root directory. Then took the stick to the NEO installed it, turned it on while pressing repetitively, F11 waiting for the BIOS but nothing happened.
Maybe I should have deleted the OS file and retained the root directory on its own.
My file does not have a file called 'LOST.DIR' which your file has.
Perhaps I should go back and get this file. Will that get me to the BIOS?

I have once again, formatted USB stick to NFTS and renamed it WINPE. I then unzipped the stick to reveal the root directory. Then took the stick to the NEO installed it, turned it on while pressing repetitively, F11 waiting for the BIOS but nothing happened.
The root directory is the same; no 'LOST.DIR' file again.
I am trying to read the BIOS file on a TV screen. Should this be a problem? The NEO opens to the splash screen while pressing repetitively, F11 waiting for the BIOS but once again, no BIOS.
''Plug in your WINPE flash drive, reboot & immediately enter the BIOS'' as ArcticWolf has said.
This is what I need to do.

Spam the DELETE key rather than F11!!

That should get you into the BIOS of an N42C-4 :).

To go corded, the easiest way for me is to use a computer; and the other way is to use a monitor and a computer. What do you suggest?
I tried the DELETE key but nothing. It is RF dongle. The Neo, TV and keyboard are on top of each other.

I was thinking: As the Neo opens up, the first thing I see is the MINIK logo (that when I start spaming the DELETE key), then the rotating wheel starts and then eventually the splash screen appears. On my screen it is a picture of a mountain peak and the date and time.
Which memory does this splash screen come from? I have changed all SDD and SODIMM's.

What are you talking about?

The point of connecting a corded keyboard means you should be able to enter BIOS by spamming the Esc key or F11 to enter Boot Menu.

Sometimes wireless keyboards do not become active until the OS is booted!

I was thinking I could attach the Neo to my computer and use the computer keyboard to manipulate the Neo. I have a monitor so I guess I will have to get a corded keyboard. I guess that answers my other question, the splash screen is looking at the unattached or disconnected USB stick.

That sounds like the system is actively booting to the copy onf Windows that's pre-installed on the eMMC. (Obviously you'll need BIOS access, but that's something you'll also need to deactivate when you do eventually get access to the BIOS.)

Why would you need another PC to configure or alter this one?

All @Villa is trying to explain is that you may just temporarily need a wired keyboard to get your N42C-4 initially configured, especially with BIOS access etc. Once you've got that all done, then hopefully you can continue on with your original plans to use a wireless keyboard & everything will (hopefully) function normally once configured. (I've never needed a wired keyboard to access my N42C-4 or the BIOS but obviously different keyboards will differ in function or capabilities.)

You've said the keyboard you're using has an RF dongle, but does it have a micro USB port too, for example? Some keyboards (i.e. a Logitech K400+) can actually still be connected to a PC via an RF dongle or you can use a cable for a direct connection if or when required such as the circumstances you're presently experiencing, then revert back to wireless.

I bypassed (left it on North) and went to boot configuration. I am left with 5 choices. 1 is Windows Boot Manager

I have gone to Kingston which is option 4 and is the stick which I think has the SSD. How do I move it to 1? It looks like it is disabled.

Well I might have progressed a little but I don't know. I got hold of a wired keyboard and I reached the stage of switching on and it fired up. Then I found out that the wired keyboard is not compatible with my mouse so I have no method of checking the drive status.
