EHD (extern hard disk) doesn't load anymore via OTG

Hi all,

I'm very glad with the neo U9-H but since one week this box doesn't load the content from the EHD via the otg. It's a 2 TB Verbatim HD. I' d love to watch downloaded series. (sometimes, when I start Kody then the content loads but it' s like playing in a casino) But now even Kody or VLC-player doesn't read the content anymore. I've tried another harddisk. This disk load 2-3 times and then it's over. How can I fix this problem?

Given what you're describing try factory resetting your U9-H.

test the external hdd in other device and see if it works.
 
Yes. Good point @Villa .

@marfi test first in U9-H itself and in all usb ports also.

If that does not work you should try the external hdd in other device.
 
Thx for the responses. I've tried the other 3 USB ports with varying succes. One time the content loads, second time not. Then I've connect again via otg and Kody recognices the EHD. The second time nope. etc.etc.The EHD does work when connected to a windows PC. The last thing I'll try is to use a powered usb-hub. (The verbatim EHD is powered btw). I'll let you know if this solves the problem.
